The primary goal of the conference is to create a forum where AI for Law scholars can present works-in-progress and receive close feedback and mentorship from peers across law and computer science.
Early-career scholars are strongly encouraged to apply to present. There is no charge to attend the conference, and meals and beverages will be provided. Limited travel funding may be available to a small number of junior scholars.
Topics of scope will focus on the use of AI in law and AI applied to law, not AI regulation or policy. Eligible topics include:
AI and legal reasoning • AI in law practice • AI in courts • AI for access to justice • Evaluation of AI for legal tasks • Developing AI technologies for law • AI in legal education
The Final Confirmation of Attendance form was due on Sunday, August 2nd. To present any slides, we kindly ask that paper presenters bring their own computers to the conference.
